CLUBS:
Art Club’s next meeting will be Friday, March 12th at 2:30pm in room, E19A. See you there!

Bible Study Club, don’t’ forget about our meeting tomorrow in Mr. Christy’s room C-12.

There will be a Sophomore Class Government meeting on Lincoln’s Birthday which is this Friday, March 12th, in room G-5 at 7:15am.

LIFEGUARD CLASSES:
If you are interested in being a lifeguard, classes begin April 12th, Monday-Thursday after school until April 26th. See Ms. Huey for more information. Class space is limited, the first 12 students to pay will be in the class. Any current lifeguards that need to recertify can also see Ms. Huey about CPR or LGT recertification class.

OGT NEWS:
The Ohio Graduation Tests are scheduled for next week, March 15 – 19th. Here are some important test-taking strategies to remember:
Read all of the multiple choice answers before deciding which one is the correct answer.
If you aren’t sure of the correct answer, eliminate the ones you know for sure are incorrect, then choose from those that are left.
You need to pass these tests to graduate so it is important that you try to do your best. Good luck!

PENNY WAR NEWS:
It’s the second day of the Penny War. The race is close, and so far we don’t have any real leaders. Make sure you participate so you and your first period class can win the free breakfast.

SPORTS:
Frozen Four tickets and t-shirts for NV Hockey Saturday’s state semi-final are on sale today through Thursday during lunch periods and in the main office until 3:30pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students, and long sleeve t-shirts are $15. Saturday’s semi-final is set to face-off at 1pm and Sunday’s state championship game will start at noon.

TUTORS NEEDED:
Highland Elementary is looking for after school tutors for the months of March & April. This is a great way to earn volunteer hours! If interested, please stop by the guidance office & pick up a permission slip for more detailed information. Please bring the completed permission slip the first day you tutor! The Highland students need your help! Thanks!
