Opportunities for Academic Assistance

 

1. Help Yourself

• Be organized and use your agenda book to complete homework and study for tests
  
• Manage your time well and set aside uninterrupted quite time for homework
  
• Study with a friend or your parent

 

2. Ask your teacher for help

• Ask questions when you don't understand
  
• Utilize opportunities before and after class

 

3. Use The Academic Assistance Center

• Academic teachers are available all periods of the day in guidance
  
• National Honor Society (NHS) students are available all periods in guidance
  
• Academic teacher and NHS peer tutors are available after school in room B%, 2:30-3:30 Monday- Thursday
• Algebra 1, Intermediate Algebra, and Algebra II students can stop in B7 during the day for assistance from a certified math teacher.

 

4. After School Ohio Graduation Test Intervention

• October 5-November 5
  
• February 1-March 5
  

5. Tutors For Hire

• See your guidance counselor for a list of tutors who work with students outside of school for negotiated fees.
