It is expected that all Tech Prep students will successfully complete Algebra II before graduating. Interactive Media I is a two-period class that will focus on designing, creating, and producing multimedia products for print, web, and video. Students can use multi-media technology to develop products/programs for business, entertainment, communications and marketing. Students can learn software packages such as Photoshop (photo editing), InDesign (desk- top publishing/layout), Illustrator (computer graphics) and Dreamweaver (web design). Students can participate in several “real world” projects throughout the year such as Business Professionals of America Competition.

Prerequisite: Interactive Media Technology I
Interactive Media II is a two-period class that will continue focusing on designing, creating, and producing multimedia products for print, web, and video. During the second year of the program, students will focus on advancing and reinforcing the skills learned in Interactive Media I and integrating the skills into digital multimedia presentations. Software used will include Dreamweaver (web design) and Flash (animation), Apple Final Cut Pro (video production), DVE Studio Pro and Soundtrack Pro. Students can design client-based projects and a senior project. Students can participate in several “real world” projects throughout the year such as Business Professionals of America Competition. Upon successful completion of this two-year program, you may earn transferrable college
credits through dual enrollment.
