*This is how it works with me: Listen to me at all times, be responsible, be respectful of everyone in the room, and follow instructions the first time.
*Please do not forget to follow school handbook guidelines and to do your best work.
*Please ask questions in order for me to help you. Remember that I am not a mind reader.

Consequences

• 1st offense: warning
• 2nd offense: 2:30 p.m. detention with me
• 3rd offense and so on: demerit
• Possible phone calls home after 2 infractions
• Any fighting, stealing, threatening, harassing, or insubordination will be an automatic referral to the office.

Classroom Procedures

1.) Enter the classroom in an orderly fashion, be seated in your assigned seat, and follow directions that will be located on the board. The directions will include gathering your materials and/or begin working on your assignment.
*If you are tardy, I will NOT accept work that has been turned in at the beginning of class. If you have an unexcused absence, I will not accept work that was due that day.

2.) I expect you to be on time, in your seat, materials out and already working when the bell rings. I will NOT be telling you or warning you to sit down and work. This is your warning, next offense is a detention and we will go from there.
3.) Please raise your hand to ask a question or to be called upon. This eliminates interruptions and confusion.

4.) I expect you to write your name, date, and any page numbers in the upper right hand corner on ALL assignments. Failure to do so will result in a zero for that assignment.

5.) I expect you to use PENCIL on all assignments, tests, and quizzes. Failure to do so will result in a “0.” This is your only warning.

6.) I expect appropriate language and manners to be used in my room at all times.

7.) Please wait for my instruction to begin packing up to leave class. Please wait in your seats until the bell rings. I prefer you not to line up at the door.

Extra Help
