Many of our students are interested in volunteering their time to better our community. Graduates who accumulate 200+ volunteer hours will receive a certificate and pin at commencement.

MYTH VS FACT
Myth: You have to be a member of Interact to receive the special recognition at graduation.
Fact: Anyone can volunteer their time and get recognized at graduation. You do not have to be a member of any club to do this.
Myth: If you don't volunteer 50 hours a year, then you will not graduate.
Fact: This is an optional program - it is not a required component of graduation.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Your hours must be:
- From a nonprofit organization
- Confirmed and verified by a supervisor of the nonprofit organization - via UGIVE.ORG
- You may not get payment or compensation of any kind for your work.
- You will not be credited with these hours if they are conducted to fulfill a Northview class requirement.
PROCESS
- Register on UGIVE.ORG
- Volunteer through UGIVE.ORG
- Make sure the organization places your compelted hours on UGIVE.ORG
- Print out your hours (for your records)
